Halo - Sword Lunge

While playing Halo 2, I began to think, how does Masterchief lunge so far with his sword? Well here is what I've come up with, thrusters hidden in his back. Though the concept isnt new to Halo, I wanted to add the thrusters to more bungie era looking armour, though I decided to use the Halo infinite armour, to keep the painting up to date.

I also decided to use the new character introduced called Jega. The armour is based off the concept art 343 industries had released but with my own little additions here and there.

Since Jega had a red sword, I wanted to give chief a blue sword to contrast the sides they are fighting on. This clashing of blue and red lights would bring out the magenta colour in the middle, making for a much more vibrant painting than I had anticipated and I love it!
